I am looking for the specific law governing tatoo parlors with regard to age. Does anyone have a reference?

i tattoo in ventura county and to get licenced you just need to pay for a health permint ($130?) and a business licence. the licence really has nothing to do with any training though... no test or anything. i know that it's different for LA county so it might be different for you. as far as a learning i think the only legit way is through an apprenticeship. mine took about 8 months.

lol. MONTHS of apprenticeship? I **** to disappoint you, but it takes years. Tattooing is not something you can just jump into and be good at in a few months.

None as far as I know. Just be an employee of the owner of the shop. That is how it worked with my brother, no license required, that is in Modesto, Ca. though.

I am not answering this question....just replying to a question of mine you answered. Yes, I am qualified for AP Psych and I am afraid you are mislead in the way you read my question. I am talking about people who have the talent to act (yes, acting takes unaccquirable talent), not the people who act as thier job. I should have clarified that to begin with.
