I don’t think they really care if someday you want to be an actor. However, if you enlist as a shore patrol, you won’t be able to switch within the navy to be an actor. You would have to leave the Navy first.
If you can try summer stock. If you are good someone may offer you a bit part in the theater, But actors are dime a dozen
