U.S. Navy, but I have a different career choice?

I just saw a job posting for the U.S. Navy for law enforcement….the problem is that I want to become a actor one day…but I still have some interest in law enforcment…would the navy hire me even though i want to become a professional actor one day….

    I don’t think they really care if someday you want to be an actor. However, if you enlist as a shore patrol, you won’t be able to switch within the navy to be an actor. You would have to leave the Navy first.

    If you can try summer stock. If you are good someone may offer you a bit part in the theater, But actors are dime a dozen

    The tour is 4 years long, you can get the job you want and when the time come for the end, you can retire and be an actor… USN rules.
