I think it becomes illegal once you have sexual relations…you could go to jail for statutory ****.
It may not be against the law for you to date this person, but it really isn’t a good idea. Since you are an adult, 18 years of age, and she is a minor, you could be facing charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor if things happened to go wrong, or statutory **** if things happened to go too far, even if she consented or initiated the act.
If it’s real, it can wait until she is 18 and you are 22, then there would be no questions, no problems, no gray areas. It’s NOT forever.
Why would you want to date a 14 year old? Even though it’s only a 4 year age difference it’s still illegal. Think about it. You’re 18 so if you guys get physical you could wind up in jail. And if she gets prego then you’re REALLY done. What sounds worse: an 18 year old dating a 14 year old or a 30 year old dating a 26 year old? In both cases there is only a 4 year difference. Try using your brain and not your d!ck. Thank you very much.
Not seeing much of a way to help you here. Even if the parents consent to the relationship, in the PC state of Oregon , you would still be arrested by an over zealous prosecutor (I.E. Mike Niafong, North Carolina) , and to boot the legal age of marriage in Oregon with parental consent is the highest in the nation at age 17. this just isn’t a good idea man no matter what way you slice it.
If you do not have *** & do not do anything that could be considered “contribting to the delenquecy of a minor” it is legal.
