ahh that does suck, you should ask about the invisible braces at your dentist they cost a little more but are way more attractive. and hey it seems like you got a good job you can afford it!
These days, almost everyone has either had braces as a teenager or has them as an adult that it’s not a big deal. I wouldn’t worry too much. Don’t make a conscious attempt to hide them and just ignore them and, more than likely, everyone else will ignore them too.

well i’m 13 and have them, the silver ones, it just looks natural cuz we all have hem, i think the clear ones stick out more. um get silver bands or clear bands put on, not colored.
Don’t worry about not looking good for the ladies just because you have braces! Most women would either hardly notice you have them, or think they’re cute (as would I). I think it would be silly to not date someone just because they have braces!
To me it would be something unique about a person… it would make them stand out in my mind.
yup, that’s right, you can use the porcelain or the silver one, it’s pretty invisible, and maybe you can use the lingual braces. it’s better to wear braces that can make you smile beautifully in the future then stick to your malalign teeth. go check up regularly so it can be removed fast. and i think braces are cool, no worry….
Ouch, they must be hurting. Mine ached and the metal cut my cheeks. Senior partner at 26? Well done for you! (sorry, off topic!) You can’t really make them look good or professional. They are what they are and unfortunately they tend to give that young and goofy look. We had an HR manager with them at an older age and to be brutally honest it was hard to take her seriously at times. All I would suggest is try not to let it bother you, the results will be worth it. A lawyer needs a dazzling smile after all. And don’t dwell on it with others or draw attention to them, pretend there’s nothing there.
