Why are politicians not registered as other professionals?

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008
Benedict Z. Aloysius asked:

Professions are registered by legislation, but politicians who legislate are not registered !

How would it be if all election candidates are:
made to keep 80% of all “campaign promises” to: avoid heavy fine, to contest once more …

Why not get all politicians to declare their assetts to an authority and all their new acquisitions are monitored by such authority during their tenure of public offfice.

Who is to legislate such regulations or laws?

You and I ofcourse, all of us who are lucky enough to be living in democracy and cusard enough to not to think of improving but keep on grousing.

Heard of the murders of journalists and critics of President Vladimir Putin and Dr Mugabe and many more atrocities …

Are’nt we lcuky … therefore we should try to contribute our mite to save democracy for our future.

Does the democrat passage of the supplemental bill impact soldiers morale?

Saturday, September 13th, 2008
rmagedon asked:

“This was political posturing. Of course, if they think it didn’t just make most deployed military people anxious, well, they truly don’t understand the troops. The troops are always pawns - but now they’ve truly been advanced deep into the other side of the board, while wondering what the support is behind them. Some are going to get cautious, even as the vote emboldens and gives aid and comfort to the enemy. This is an Army of long service professionals, but, it can’t help but impact on morale.”

I thought giving aid to the enemy was treason. Are the democrats above the law?
goldenrae - at least read the blogs before repeating the party line, this is the truth from those who are there, it is not media propaganda, it is not political propaganda, IT IS THE TRUTH.

you could at least have a little intellectual honesty.
I have to tell you, I have never seen more brainwashed socialists in my life, your answers are pathetic, either come up with an argument that can be supported with facts or shut up, you guys are WRONG, fund the troops, no strings attached, or do not. Quit playing political games with our soldiers lives. Your role in this is to fund or not, the President is the Commander in Chief, the congress writes the checks, or not. God I just want to scream at this insanity.

Did you leave your spouse to “Move up.”?

Thursday, September 11th, 2008
realistnola asked:

My friend’s husband became a partner in a law firm and decided that he wanted someone who was a professional, not the wife who supported him and raised the three kids. His girlfriend left her husband after she became a partner in a different law firm. He husband was a contractor and she wanted to move in different circles wit her daughter and not have a blue collar husband. They have now split up and are both begging their spouses to take them back. Has anyone else ever been in this position. I told my friend to get a boyfriend and others are telling her to take him back. She is very confused. Of course, those who can’t help themslves by saying it, she will have to make the decision. Just wondering whether anyone else has done something this. . . irrational.
